HNRX

Palazzo Castri is pleased to host a selection of works by the surrealist graphic muralist HNRX, thanks to its collaboration with Street Levels Gallery, Florence's first urban art gallery.

The Street Levels Gallery is a multifaceted environment committed to investigating the interaction between the street, the public, and the exhibition space; a reality dedicated to the development of urban artistic experimentation.

Driven by the desire to showcase and support artistic expressions born on the street, Street Levels Gallery acts as a mediator between the street and the exhibition space, involving local and international artists to give space to new voices in street art.

HNRX is an Austrian artist with ties to Germany. His works often feature the names of his "two hometowns": Innsbruck and Hamburg, sometimes accompanied by their geographical coordinates. 

His training as a muralist always leads him to seek contact with the outside world and with the urban environment, so his travels become long train journeys during which he studies the landscape, then deconstructs and processes it.
